Updated review since my initial one in 2021. They faired the hurricanes quite well and other than a missing dock you really wouldn't know it ever happened. Upstairs does have outside seating and the inside bar/seating is tropically decorated and very beachy. Clean and comfortable. Service has been excellent and the food seems to have improved. There was help from Toasted Monkey servers since they were still closed. A very pleasurable visit.

This restaurant is one of my go to spots for a relaxing meal or drink at the bar. They have a great water view

The pasta was delicious!!!!! So so good!!!! My husband said his sandwich was very yummy!! Banana piña colada was just ok, nothing great, would not recommend. Service was good. View from upstairs inside air conditioned room, was not bad. All in all I would recommend this place for the food and view!!! A little pricey, but so is every restaurant nowadays...

This is so much more than a beach bar. There is parking and a menu that has a terrific list of very good food. The beet salad was a hit and the guacamole was fresh with nice chunks. I ordered the shrimp and grits off of the brunch menu and the others ordered the lobster rolls and raved about them. This is a fun place and Charles enhanced our time there.

Living in Tampa for four years, it's not often I stumble upon a hidden gem that instantly becomes a favorite, but Bouy Waterfront Bar and Grill did just that. Recommended by a friend, this place quickly claimed the top spot on my list of go-to spots, both for casual outings and when hosting out-of-town guests. The food here is consistently impressive, with flavors that capture the essence of Tampa's vibrant culinary scene. The service is attentive and prompt, making each visit smooth and enjoyable. What truly sets Bouy apart, though, are the stunning waterfront views that provide the perfect backdrop for dining. Paired with their delicious cocktails, it's an unbeatable combination that encapsulates the best of Tampa's laid-back yet lively atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Bouy Waterfront Bar and Grill offers an experience that's hard to beat. It's not just a meal; it's a moment to savor.

Excellent brunch and service. Carmela and Maddie (second floor) at the bar were exceptional. We had the pork belly Benedict and homemade hash and eggs. Fabulous house bloody Mary's. The only issue was the flavor of the hash we couldn't take a liking to and they quickly refunded that portion without question. Homemade key lime pie and the coconut cheesecake ended the meal with hot Irish coffees. Looking forward to returning soon. Highly recommend.

Four of my friends and I stumbled into this place on a Sunday morning street a night drinking, laughing and hanging out. What a beautiful place! Coastal decor. Excellent air conditioning in this Florida heat. We were wasted right away with a view of the water. Excellent service. I had the cream brûlée French toast. We all shared their drink of the day. Which was gin based strawberry something. It was delicious but had very little alcohol in it. One friend had shrimp and grits and said it's the best she's ever had. We will definitely be back! We look forward to eating outside when the temps cool off.

I can't say anything bad about this restaurant this was our first time there and we love it. We opt for a table on the first floor outside right at the water Beautiful view boats, jet skis coming in and out of the inlet. There is an upstairs and it has a patio for outdoor dining and inside also which is very nice but we like the outdoors. We lady got the buoy omelette and I got the huevos ranchero. The service was good the waitress we had was on top of things on all the tables that she was taking care of the view is beautiful did I say the view was beautiful for us right there on the water it was go there have breakfast and enjoy what you see

First visit while traveling. Ended up in the open air bar at street level adjacent to the water. We can't handle climbing a large flight of stairs to get to the dining area. Fun to see a few boats zooming by as we waited for friends to join us. The waiter was super patient as we waited an hour at the tall bar table but it wasn't very busy on a Wednesday early afternoon. The special was Wahu fish tacos and we opted for a side salad instead of fries or rice. Friends also had Wahu tacos with fries and Carne Asada tacos and rice. Food was excellent and the service was ok for food ordering but not drink refills for non alcoholic beverages. Sorry forgot pics. No real ambiance. Seating was tall metal bar chairs and very wobbly table. Nobody could lean on the table so lucky we all mostly had finger food. between the motor boats and in-house music piped in which sometimes competed. Much more of a bar vibe with food but really tasty tacos! Parking is very limited unless you're up for a walk.

We were looking for a summer salad and St. Pete foodie group suggested this spot. We loved it! We added chicken. We will definitely come again! The staff was perfect and so is the vibes and the view.
